Classics Spin #5

The Classics Clubs is hosting its fifth spin event. For the spin, you simply choose 20 books in 4 categories. The moderators will announce a random number and whatever title in your list corresponds to the number, that's the book you read by April 20th. My list for the spin is below.       It's been so fun discovering children's classics! Some of the books have been awesome (like My Father's Dragon), but others have been dreadful (such as It's Like This, Cat).

    I love all your children's classics. My daughter just read The Wolves of Willoughby Chase and loved it. Treasure Island is one of my favourites. Have you discovered the Finn Family Moomintroll series by Tove Jansson or the Swallows and Amazons series by Arthur Ransome? They are on the top of my children's list.

      Since Wolves of Willoughby Chase is the winner... and the cover is hideous... it's heartening to hear that your daughter enjoyed it.

      As for Finn Family Moomintroll - I've never heard of that and will look it up. Thanks!

      Swallows and Amazons IS on my challenge list, so I'm glad to hear that I picked a good one!
